I went in for an extraction and it was absolutely painless and surprisingly quick. Dr. Mobilia and Rebecca were extraordinary personable throughout the procedure. We worked together to set up a deep clean (my teeth are a mess) and arrrange a plan to fill the small cavities that I have as well. I would definitely recommend this dentistry.

Amanda is a fantastic hygienist! She does a great job and is gentle. After saw Dr Starkman. I will NEVER find a better dentist! He is fantastic, understanding and can give you Novocaine without barely even noticing. I had had some nightmare dentist, but Dr Starkman has shown me that there are REAL dentists in this world who truly cares about his patients. I will truly miss this man when he retires. Dr. Starkman and his staff are amazing. The other day I walked in the office for the first time without an appointment and was greeted so warmly. I was so worried about some dental work that had been done by another dentist and wanted to see if one of the dentists could see me for just a minute. The staff was so comforting and understanding and said they would check. They explained to me that Dr. Starkman was doing a procedure but when he had a few minutes in between he could see me. Not even 5 minutes later I was in the dentists chair and Dr. Starkman took a look at my mouth. He said everything was just fine and not to worry explaining to me all the reasons why. He even told me to come back in a couple of days to see him if I needed to. I am so very grateful to Dr. Starkman and his staff for going out of their way for someone who wasn't even a patient and had never been there before. They really made me feel like part of their family.

I have had a terrible.track record of broken teeth. Prior to visiting Mondovi Dental in Kinderhook, I had never had a positive experience with an extraction. First Mondovi went above and beyond to get me in quickly, I experienced no pain during the 2 rounds of numbing, the extraction did not cause any real amount of pain (just pressure), and when it was clear I was anxious, the dental assistant grabbed my hand and it helped reassure me just having her lend me a little strength. 10/10 I would never go to another dentist office anywhere else again. Hands down the best office I have EVER visited. If you are looking for professional, caring, and kind dentists, Mondovi is hands down the absolute best practice!

I was supposed to do this review long time ago, and here it goes. When I was in my late 50s, I was playing with the idea of having a face lift, or some kind of cosmetic change (not that I desperately needed) but I definitely wanted to improve my image. I have been always very conscious about my dental hygiene, but the idea of the face lift was still in the first place. I just wanted to celebrate my 60s showing less aging signs. Well, one day, one of my front tooth chipped and, immediately I went shopping por dentistry. I was looking around Valatie, NY. I found a general dentistry practice , I was examined, but I found, what they were offering to me as a fix, wasn't complete, or something didn't convinced me at all. On my way out, somebody from the practice, recommended Dr. David Starkman. I remember she said: he is a dentist and he does cosmetics works as well. The best decision ever! The consultation and interview, (yes, he wants to know you and you need to know him) was great. He offered me not only repairing or fixing the tooth, he explained some alternatives, and one of them became to be the winner for my 60 years birthday! My choice was having Veneers on my four front teeth, but I ended having more done. He helped me finding the right color, whIch I had forgotten I had. With the whitening gel and trays, at home, I achieved the real white, my original white! I learned about the process, and I finally ended with a mouth over, or mouth lift! That's exactly what I needed, not a face lift! I have always said: your smile is the light of your soul! I am so happy still, with the work of art, Dr. Starkman did. Among all these achievements, I always enjoyed a a friendly ambiance, a courteous staff, and a professional and compassionate doctor. Thank you so much Dr. Starkman.

I have been a patient at Kinderhook Dental Arts since August 2017. My previous dentist was also my employer for 10 years, therefore , any dental work/ cleanings were at no cost. Having said that, discovering Kinderhook Dental Arts was an eye opener. There is no comparison to the quality of service, even if I have to pay out of pocket. The staff is very professional, and make you feel at ease . The two cleanings I have had by two different hygienists are the most thorough I have ever received. If other issues need to be addressed, they are not forced, but suggested in order to maintain dental health. Modern technology at its best, as well as the care of the patient. Highly recommend!

I had such a great experience this morning at my appointment! I am a new patient and haven't seen a dentist in years. Everyone at this office was so welcoming and did not embarrass me about how long it has been since my last cleaning/checkup. My hygienist was personable and did a thorough job and the dr was great at explaining my immediate and various options for moving forward and how they would contact my insurance company to present pricing to me. The office was clean and modern, had a coffee and water station. They even sent me away with a cute gift as a thank you for being a new patient. I highly recommend this practice and look forward to being a long time patient of Dr Shah.

Dr. Starkman and his staff are the best of the best! My husband was in a Car accident Sunday morning resulting in his front teeth being broken in half (among other injuries). Dr. Starkman was on his way home from vacation when he got our emergency call. He drove straight from Albany Airport to his dental practice to meet with us. He was our calm in a storm of a day. The next day he gave up his lunch break to see us again. This time he did a temporary fix that was so professionally done that it really looks like my husbands real teeth! He still has to get oral surgery and permanent crowns put in- and we feel so confident going forward in Dr.Starkmans capable hands. We will never go anywhere else.
