Awful. Whole family had been going there for about 5 years. The last several appointments they've said all was well. Then I go in for reg appt and need "extensive work". Because there is no DR there they refer me out. That was the only thing they got right. I go to the new place and they can't believe the amount of work I need. It didn't happen overnight and would have been missed on multiple occasions. The new dentist was more upset than me! Very frustrating...costing me alot more for crowns etc and broken fillings(that they did). I'll be pulling my whole family from there and sending the kids to gales ferry and bringing my husband to Fanning in Norwich.

So Disappointing. Went for 6 month check. She took at least 6-8 xrays. Told me I needed work. Then I expected Dr Goodwin to come and check me. Was Then told Dr was out on medical and no one knew when he was coming back. Really weird. Somebody's lying. I was then told to find another dentist and they would send my records. They never gave me a 6 month cleaning appt.

I neglected going to the dentist for a few years because of some uncomfortable visits to other dentists. I read reviews and found Dr. Goodwin. The whole office is great! ! Dr Goodwin and dental hygienist, Denise, were professional and kind worked to get me back on track again. When I needed a crown it was completed in a day! The technology Dr Goodwin uses is amazing! I moved out of state but I am so comfortable with Dr Goodwin and Denise that I don't hesitate to make the drive to Griswold to get the excellent care I get there.

I have been going to this office for several years. Dr. Goodwin inherited me as a "problem-child" patient who required extensive repair work as a result of years of neglect. I have had numerous cavities, root canals, extractions and crowns done over the years to restore my teeth. Needless to say, I am well qualified to write this review. Dr. Goodwin is an all around great guy who really cares and is so skilled that you hardly know he is working on your teeth. He always goes above and beyond for his patients. I have even had special emergency sessions scheduled on multiple occasions. He and his staff are always friendly and professional beyond my expectations. Beyond all this, they always work with me to get the maximum amount of work done in the most cost-effective manner allowable by my insurance plan. I would give this office a 50 star review if it was an option!

The office was so clean it sparkled, and I complimented him and his staff. Dr. Goodwin replaced my filling expertly and I felt comfortable about the procedure. I am glad to have this great office in Griswold for my dental needs.

I highly recommend this dental practice. I no longer dread going to the dentist! Dr. Goodwin is so gentle and concerned for the comfort of the patient while being very knowledgeable. Sara, the hygienist, is very efficient. and pleasant. I like having the same hygienist every time as I know she knows my teeth well and has gotten to know me. Used to be best dentist on earth until he sold out to mondovi dental. Went to an appointment and he never came into the room to even look in my mouth. His political officer assistant took and x ray, he supposedly looked at it in his office and told her to tell me to have the tooth pulled. Never even saw the guy. Been going to him for ten years. Not anymore. Too bad. Mondovi is an investment company out of Ohio in the process of taking over the practices of local dentist for fun and profit.
