Have you been terrified of the dentist as a child? Does your idea of a nightmare comprise of a dentist standing over you with an instrument and the dental assistant placing the water suction thingy in your mouth? Well, I've got fantastic news for you. As a self-confessed wimp when it comes to the dentist, Dr Manku is exactly what the doctor ordered. Apologies, I couldn't resist. His bedside banner and his attention to detail absolutely put me at ease. His staff were wonderful. I had to pinch myself, not because I was in excruciating pain but to verify that this level of professionalism and caring actually existed. If I could give this practice six stars I would.

From the receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist it couldn’t be any more efficient, graceful, kind, and cost affective. This is the first time I had Dr Manku perform a procedure other than checking my teeth after a cleaning. He did a root canal on a front tooth in preparation for a new crown. He and Deborah exceeded my expectations! No pain, explained everything about the steps being taken and was done within 1 hour. Also very easy to schedule my next appointment with Tracy. Jaime explained the billing and what was covered before I had the procedure. I had been going to Laura for my cleanings for over 10 years and have always come away pleased with the results.

Love the hygienists, but the dentist started a root canal, broke a drill in the root, filled it with cement and didn’t tell me. Now it looks like he may have drilled in the wrong tooth to begin with. Don’t go there! Update- the new dentist is Sloan who is terrific and the office is paying for the fixes. So much better now.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Sloan's for about 27 years and we have always found both he and his staff, especially Laura and Betsy to be very caring, competent professionals. However I am sorry to say since partnering with Mondovi Dental we are not very pleased. The receptionist along with the dental assistant is not very pleasant. They say rude comments on the side and have no understanding. of how the patients feel.They are an example of how a professional NOT ought to act. What a shame they are ruining what was a wonderful dental office. I hope you post this!
