This was a 5 star facility under its founder. Gary Campagna, (my dentist for 40 years). It's excellence continued even after he sold to Mondovi. After his retirement he was replaced by Lisa Duckles, who carried on this great practice until she suddenly left to move West. Things fell apart without a replacement and I moved on. I have been trying to get my records for several months now. Although there is an answering machine that states we will call you right back- there has been no response. Also no response from the headquarters in Fall River. Advise you do not get involved with Mondovi Dental, period. There are plenty of great private practices that will treat you right. Gave it 1 star because I had to.

Jan 3, 2024. E. Harwich Office. Before my 12:30 with Amy (terrific hygienist), I called Mondavi around 10:30 to check since I had not received the usual email where I confirm my appointment. No one returned my call and when I went there was small note on the door saying that the office was temporary closed! This is totally irresponsible since they have everyone's email to let them know or to leave a message on their phone to let patients know this important information and when are they going to update us on what is going on and when & if we can have another appointment for dental cleaning.

I was a patient with Gary C for over 30years.When he was getting ready to retire he hired Dr. Duckles.She was great also.The staff was always upbeat and friendly.my last cleaning was the last day for Dr Duckles for she was moving back out west.Now I have to get my records from this Mondovi dental mill. Stay away!

I'm extremly disappointment in what I have encountered lately with Mondovi Dental in East Harwich MA. I have been a long-term patient of Mondovi Dental, formally Dr. Campagna, (about 9 years.). In the past, I was always treated with the utmost professionalism, never once had a problem and always gave them glowing reviews. Over the past 6 months it has been nothing but hell. I had 2 cancelled appointments upon my arrival, treated unprofessionally, spoken to rudely and dismissively, being rushed in and out without hearing my concerns etc. They obviously do not care about their patients.

* Dr Duckles has left. "SMILE BRANDS" is/was the mother company last fall, that may have changed since. Several changes of hands, this place is bound to fail. Extremely inefficient, horrible virtually non existant leadership and supervision. Old equipment, poor training, the girls working there take a lot and get nothing in return. Serious CYA mentality. Super huge turnaround of employees. Nothing but snitty snotty backstabbing refugees from other "smile brands" locations that are out to take over your job. HEAVEN? I Don't think so.

I’m a little confused by these reviews and see most are about the other location. The older male dentist at the Harwich location was condescending , correcting my dental terminology repeatedly and also archaic, suggesting I get crowns when all I came in for was one chipped tooth on vacation. The bill I received for my 5 minute consultation was the icing on the cake. (They told me they took my insurance). I went home to my own dentist who fixed my tooth easily with no mention of crowns.

I had a temporary crown replaced with a permanent one and a filling removed, cleaned and refilled. Everyone in the office is so friendly and cheerful. Dr. Duckles is always encouraging and keeps a patient calm and brave. She and her assistant work efficiently and supportively and make it a very pleasant experience. I assume she checks her notes on each patient ahead of time, and it’s nice to feel as though she remembers everything about the last appointment. She makes me feel like the only patient!!

I’m not the best dental patient. I have to delay scheduled appointments from time to time, but the care I get from the Doctors and assistants is top notch. They should chastise me for my neglect, but they are ever so kind and thorough, even though I can imagine what they must think of me. I just had the new dentist (her name escapes me now, but she is an ethnic Czech - so am I) and she was every bit as wonderful as Dr. Campagna, who is starting to scale back toward retirement. I am right there with him. It’s probably inappropriate for me to add, but I will anyway. The dental hygienist, Amy, is the best I’ve ever had for teeth cleaning, X-rays, etc. She has a magic touch! In fairness though, I’ve sat in the chair for several of the hygienists and their all great. I highly recommend Mondovi, Harwich! Jim

Dr. Lisa Duckles and every person I interacted with in the office and when setting up my appointments were kind, accommodating, and professional. I would 100% recommend Dr. Duckles and the team to anyone looking for a dentist in the area! I'd been too nervous to go to the dentist during COVID, but had chipped a tooth and couldn't put it off any longer. My experience at Mondovi was smooth sailing - it was easy to make the initial appointment for the consult and quickly get in for the procedure. The office was spotless, modern (massage exam chair?!), and safety precautions were in place and being taken seriously (temp screenings, masks, social distancing, etc). Dr. Duckles had a great bedside manner and did an excellent job repairing my tooth.

Kindest office I've been to! From the lovely front desk workers to the dentist himself, I felt cared for and listened to. They print out a comprehensive and clear bill at the end of your appointment and offered me a very affordable first time patient discount which was much appreciated as I don't have dental insurance. COVID-19 NOTE: they made necessary office modifications to ensure patients and employees were safe and comfortable.
