Unfortunately no one can make a dentist apply for a position and stay somewhere. Mondavi Dental has been undergoing changes and now have hired local staff who plan to be around for the long term. It takes time to find people who are the right fit and want to work long term in a rural community. Hopefully going forward patients will see that things are improving. As clients begin to stay with the office they may look to hire more dentists or hygienists. They want to be sure clients are happy with the new local staff and stay with the office.

I didn't even want to give 1 star. Very disappointed. I was scheduled with the hygienist for a periodontal cleaning .Waited close to a year for this appointment.Had one with hygienist sooner when office called to reschedule because of staff shortages. Finally got my appointment n they said hygienist was too busy to see me so the had dentist do regular cleaning instead of the periodontal cleaning I was scheduled to have ..I was not aware it was going down like that or I would not have even stsyed. By the time I became aware it was regular cleaning it was too late. I will never ever go there again. I have been going to Dr Flanders for over 20 years. He was fantastic. These ppl who took over are awful. Extremely disappointed with them.

Been a patient for about a year but I won’t be back since they have a new dentist. She was in a rush (quickly tapped my teeth with the handle of a tool) and didn’t address my concerns. I have an infected tooth and she recommended a root canal for a completely different tooth three or four teeth away. Claimed it was a sinus infection even though the X-ray showed exactly where it was. When I pointed that out she just referred me to someone else who will look at the X-rays. I appreciate the antibiotics though. I like the staff who are always friendly and it’s a clean place. I hope they do well and wish them the best in the future but I need to go elsewhere from now on as I can’t trust the dentist to deal with any future issues I may have.

Having been a patient over 10 yrs. I have seen this office go through many changes, dentists, receptionist. No one loves change. This office has always provided professional staff not to mention the education that goes along with your 6 month cleaning. It is the best dental office in Delaware County. I felt at ease in the chair and was told that I did not need work done that a "chain" dentist told me I had to have done (to the tune of $2,000). As weird as it sounds, I love going to the dentist, especially because I get to go here. Everyone is friendly and attentive, with a focus on providing optimal care. If you are not a current patient and reading this because you might go there don't bother. Even when in need of immediate dental care there is a good chance you will be turned down with the nice little "I'm sorry to tell you this but we are not currently accepting new patients at this time". If you happen to be one of the lucky ones however and do get to be a patient here you may not really be that lucky either as you will be paying higher than average prices average services.
