I had an exceptional experience at this dental office! The team, including the receptionist Lauren, was not only kind and thoughtful but also incredibly comforting. Dr. Shah and Elena, my hygienist, exhibited outstanding bedside manner, addressing all my concerns and guiding me through my plans and my X-rays. They provided valuable insights on future care and discussed various options for handling my fillings. The detailed care extended to walking me through and explaining my payment plan and coverage, making me feel assured. The team's sweet demeanor and truly proactive approach alleviated my stress around going to the dentist! I'm beyond grateful for the excellent service and the prompt action in addressing my concerns! :)

I've been going this office since Dr. Spielman was there. Last month, a 40-year-old gold post loosened just before a 2 week vacation. Dr. Shah made time at the end of the day to recement it. However, he soon discovered that the root had cracked and that I'd need an implant. Still, he used his strongest cement and came up with a way to keep my front tooth in place throughout my vacation. He also took a mold for the temporary flipper which was ready before I started surgery. Dr Shah is personable, ingenious and very knowledgeable. The office staff are always friendly and helpful and my hygienist uses the numbing gel for painless cleanings. Needless to say, I highly recommend Mondovi Dental in Plainsboro!

I am so grateful to the newer staff of Mondovi Dental in Plainsboro. I have life-threatening allergies that make dental care extremely nerve-wracking. Patty, Lori, and Dr. Shah could not have been kinder, more gentle, or more accommodating. When it turned out (after my checkup) that I needed a small amount of work done, they worked with my schedule and got me in several days later. I appreciate their attention to detail and am recommending this practice to everyone. I’ve been there several years, but these three are so fantastic, it warranted leaving an online review. I know they’ve had enormous turnover because of the health crisis, and I hope they don’t leave!

I was very nervous going back to this location (its been over a year). Had a bad experience with one of the hygienists and the staff wasn't so pleasant. I called with a cracked tooth yesterday and I was seen right away! The new dentist, Dr. Shah is amazing, so is Oliver and Jamie! My anxiety is gone and I look forward to seeing them again next week.

We went to this office for probably more than 30 years while it was run by Dr. Spielman & Dr. Schwartz. I had trust in both dentists to take care of my family and I. Since their retirement, this office has had a constantly changing roster of dentists. None want to stay because they are merely employees - not an owner. The insurance declined to cover the new dentists because they were out of network however the office staff never told me, prior to the visit, that this might be a possibility. In addition, I received a bill that seems deliberately designed to be confusing. Payments that I made do not appear to be applied to what is owed. When I tried to call to discuss, I could not reach anyone. When I sent a letter with a detail of my questions, no one picked up the phone to provide me with answers. If you value consistency of care, avoid this practice. You will never have the same dentist twice.

I went for a cleaning and an exam with Dr. Harsh Shah, great doctor, he’s very informative about treatment options and explains everything in detail before starting any treatment. I have a small cavity and he mentioned to monitor the cavity and if it gets bigger we would do the filling there. Overall extremely satisfied with services provided, Highly Recommend Dr. Shah.

Receptionist who answered the phone does not know how to handle patient concerns. Very rude by cutting me off and talking over me. She hung up when i got agitated because she kept on cutting me off without giving me a chance to verbalize the issue. All she wanted to say was basically "i don't want to hear about your issue, so I'll just get your name and then go talk to my manager". MONDOVI DENTAL, YOU HAVE A HUGE PROBLEM WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. VERY RUDE STAFF WITH NO KNOWLEDGE HOW TO TALK TO PATIENTS. Your business is on a downhill. Read your reviews. Plenty of one stars. I would give a negative 1 if there was any.

My fiancé went there for a scheduled cleaning and wanted to smooth out a slightly chipped tooth. The dentist "found" many cavities which she has had 3-4 in her lifetime and went to do 4 fillings in one sitting! She spoke in a way of urgency and pressured my fiancé into the procedure which I doubt was urgent or necessary. They when they billed insurance they billed as out of network when assuring that they were in network. Stay away from this dentist!!!

I'm disappointed to say that after seeing Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Spielman exclusively for 18 years, I will look elsewhere for my dental care. My experience echoes previous reviewers' - this practice is focused on selling procedures, some of which were questionable after seeking additional expert opinions. As a clinician myself, preventive care is very important, but there is a limit to how many procedures are reasonable, safe, and financially feasible. Though my dental hygienist and Leslie, one of the receptionists, were incredibly warm and professional with their patient service, another receptionist left much to be desired.

I left the practice after having been a patient of Dr. Spielman's for 30 years. To keep this short, the place appears to me more focused on selling services and procedures (some questionable) than on getting to know you as a patient. It is a very different business now. It appears to be the downfall that comes with a corporate owned practice. I am hoping that this will change in the future, but I had a bad experience on my first visit and I left.

When this practice was in the care of Dr. Schwartz and Dr. Spielman it was superb. I had initially gone there to get a second opinion as a dentist in Princeton claimed I had 4 cracked teeth. They found this not to be true (a dentist in NYC also confirmed this). I continued to use their services for 7 years and was treated with great care. Now the new dentist claims I have 2 cracked teeth. Again, not true. So please be aware. It is always best to get a second and even third opinion.

Doctor is good , but the lady at the front desk lies to collect as much money as possible. She assured me not to worry about crossing the yearly treatment cost limit, and that she will schedule the appointments such that we are always with in the annual limit from the insurance. But I later received the bill from Doctor office saying that I owe close to 300 and my insurance covers at 100÷ , so there shouldn't be any balance up to the yearly limit, lady then clarifies that I have crossed the annual limit, so I owe them the balance and she in fact tells me that it's just 300 , and that its a small amount. I asked her why would she lie during 1st appointment about scheduling to stay with in the limits, she has no answer for it but I now have 300 bill to pay.

I too have a lot of experience with dentists and Dr. Spielman is my dentist of choice. As mentioned above, he wont recommend procedures you don't need. I wish I had learned of him years ago!
